Children & Youth on
Sunday Mornings.

Family is important to us here at Mansfield Baptist Church.

We start our Sunday morning services at 10.30 am by meeting together as a whole, intergenerational Church family for worship.

Our children and young people are then very welcome to join our groups, where they will be invited to participate in age-appropriate activities in response to a Bible message.

Little Acorns (0-2)

Children younger than 3 are encouraged to stay with their parents in the chapel for the duration of the service.

We also have a room available with a live link to the service and age-appropriate toys which you may use if you prefer.

Seedlings and Rise
( 3 yrs to & including school yr 5)

All the children in Seedlings and Rise join together for bible teaching before splitting into smaller groups for activities/craft/games.

When groups are due to start, the person leading the service will indicate when children will need to leave. All children in Seedlings and Rise will need to be checked in and collected by an adult at the desk in the main hall. At check-in, you will be provided with a numbered wristband which will need to be returned in order to collect your child.

Rooted ( School Yr 6 and including
Yr 11)

Our young person’s group, Rooted, starts from yr 6.

The young people go out to their group after time in the service but they don’t need to be checked in by a parent.

School Year 12+

Those who are in year 12 and above stay in the service.

We love seeing all our young people integrated into the church life by serving in various way. Many are involved in the worship group but there are other opportunities including joining the rota as a helper in Seedlings and Rise.

This doesn’t have to be just on a Sunday morning as we have The Gathering, our monthly evening service, and other groups taking place during the week.
